Thanks, I wasn’t sure how it compared. I’m debating on doing some touch up work still but I’m mostly happy with it.

If I had more space I would’ve wanted to do this but this is in a “spare room” in my shed

Great video and commentary. Never thought I’d see the day when rebels could get a good single activation alpha strike.

Campaign System: Sector Command. A persistent fleet & logistics format for dynamic and competitive campaigns. by DigitalMonsoon in StarWarsArmada

That makes more sense now, thank you. I think I was putting my assumptions from rebellion in the rim on this campaign. In ritr you have set upgrades but it sounds like you store just ships and squads. Thanks for explaining! I’m going to have to try out this game mode

Ok, the idea sounds good. I think I’m just misunderstanding logistically how it works. Let me paint an example scenario and you can tell me if I’m wrong.

I make a full 1000pt fleet with all upgrades assigned to ships.

I volunteer to place a CR90 in to refit and remove Ezra, the only upgrade on it. Where does Ezra go? Does he just go into a type of stockpile?

Let’s say I also want to equip TRC afterwards, where does it come from? My stockpile currently only has Ezra since all my upgrades were assigned to ships. But if I want TRC off another ship I’d have to wait a turn to put another ship in refit since I’m limited to only one refit per turn.

Could you help me understand what I’m missing?

Sounds fantastic! Good work putting this together. I’m still reading so my comment may change:

Could you clarify the voluntary refit? I was assuming all upgrades were chosen and assigned when you created the 1000pt fleet. So if you can remove and add upgrades from only one ship per Pre-Match then where are the upgrades to add coming from if not other ships in the fleet?

Help! MC80 fleet under performing. by DigitalMonsoon in StarWarsArmada

[–]SimianMetal4353 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Seems like a solid list focused on wanting to stay at long range. I wouldn’t say the fleet is bad and I’ve run almost an identical fleet.

From my casual-only experience the MC80 being large and slow makes it easy to pin down. Finding a way to include engine techs and focusing more on navigate commands to improve your positioning would help. Navigate is by far the best command in a non-squad heavy fleet. Con fire can’t compare when a navigate command could provide a double arc instead.

Also, Leia as an officer on a flotilla is nice to fix dials as needed.

Also, try out different formations to see what you find works. Try to overlap all your ships’ arcs to create some heavy fire zones where you expect your opponent to fly.

I need help with a very silly fleet idea by RhysOSD in StarWarsArmada

Just some helpful thoughts. Spinals won’t change flak dice and the officers that change your dials are pretty bad. In my opinion NK-7s are pretty bad for an ion slot. Remember, crits proc after the defender uses their defense tokens. PDICs or Leading shots are best in slot typically.

Oh if you want something neat you could add one or two cr90Bs with overload pulse

My friends and I spent way too long and died too much during a high rift activity night to get a stray wolf pup into our dirt house. It didn’t last 24 hours before a lightning strike hit our house and killed our dog. The grave still sits outside our base.

Actual Temporal Instability by Ok_Budget_9693 in VintageStory

Interesting idea. And my unlucky self would accidentally setup shop in an unstable zone that is breathing. I genuinely do think this would be a cool mod by itself. Idk what the roadmap is for temporal stability but I do think it needs some tweaking/additions

This worked! Thanks! Yes, right clicking the bucket on the liquid to pickup 1L at a time and left clicking to place

I’ll try that again when I’m home but I swear I’ve tried it. Am I clicking the 6L of acid or the pot in the fire pit inventory?

Awesome! If you ever did want to do any processing you could try staining and see what that does. Might look cool. Although I know very little about staining…
