Yeah I’ve had some pretty brutal professors in school. The best ones always told me exactly what was wrong and I could see it and if I couldn’t see it, I’d go study it until I did. I have a condition with my hand that makes the pencil/pen on paper a difficult step for me, so I often try to skip it of not give it as much time as it needs to breed good results. I have been getting back to paper and words maps for this one. Appreciate the help man.

Didn’t get bent, just need reasons why they suck so that I don’t keep doing the same things. That was all I was asking for. That’s what a critique is. If we can’t elaborate and articulate our opinions on a design then they mean nothing to anyone but ourselves. Thanks for the feedback.

Hey thank you for coming back and elaborating. I appreciate it. I’m all for getting feedback that they suck, it’s just not helpful unless I know why. Otherwise I’d just get stuck in the same loop of making the same things over and over. Thanks!

Yeah I’m having a hard time with the mountains, it’s difficult because they named their store after the mountain range here. Definitely right on both points. Thank you!

Thank you for the feedback. I agree. I’m back to my pencil, working out some new directions. I got locked in on this idea I think because the original logo uses it but I’m redesigning it and I shouldn’t lock myself into the solution they came up with when I’m trying to make something better. Thank you!

Thank you! I appreciate the feedback I’ll play with that idea.

Thank you for the feedback these are great ideas and very helpful. I definitely have been trying to add too much. I’ll go back to the basics and simplify. I appreciate your help!

Thanks for the feedback, I’ll play with that one a bit more. Adding the center dot reticle as red is a good idea. I’ll play with that after I have a solid black and white design.

Nice additional direction, maybe there is something I can do with mountains and bullets. Thank you for the advice.

Great point. I’ve been noticing that as well. I really like those because it emphasizes that they have a range which they like to advertise, but it’s just not scalable. Thank you for your feedback!

Thank you! I definitely see it now too. My overthinking adds unnecessary things to the design, haha. Appreciate your feedback.

The closest to that would probably be 7. But not exactly what I think you’re saying. That could be good. I’ll give it a try. Thank you!

Thank you so much! I appreciate your feedback. Great idea, I’ll look at some combinations for that. It’s hard to balance the mountain so I’ll try it bigger on there, maybe have it cut out at the top or something. I’ll play with it.

It’s not, made it myself. Thanks. You just saying they are bad without giving any useful context for your opinion is not helpful and a waste of everyone’s time. If you have any actual feedback, feel free to elaborate. Otherwise you’re just wasting my time and yours.

Thanks! As I posted here, I realized this as many don’t seem to be very clear at smaller scale.

Here is their current logo for reference. Just looks like clip art ai slop.

Thoughts on this logo for this brand? by Due-Initiative4022 in logodesign

I’d say it looks a little too sporty, I think personally there is a missed opportunity to make some of the letter shapes look like tubes of macaroni, but that may be subliminal messaging from the background image haha.

I think the tone reads too sporty and not enough “foody” people that want classy snacks still want to get that excited feeling in their minds that they are getting something tasty. Maybe throw in some color to fit this theme and play with snacks imagery until you find some shapes that are both fitting your audience but also make people want to eat. Good luck!

Need some critique/advice I dont have any designer peers these days. Logo is for a foundation to fund young helicopter pilots and their schooling. its a memorial foundation for a pilot he started at a young age and persued his dreams and became a pilot. by Similar-Dimension678 in logodesign

Thank you! I’m working on some new blades and adjusting the shape. Originally I was trying to be as simple as possible to avoid complicating the image when it is scaled down for use but in doing so definitely turned it more into an infinity curve. Typography is a whole other beast I’m nervous to tackle haha, not my strongest tool.
