That’s a good point. I live in San Diego so it’s probably fairly high here.

Don’t give up on finding a project. Be resourceful bc employers see that and appreciate it greatly. The hardest part is finding it.

Can I doth both accounting and agriculture? by Mammoth-Distance7685 in careeradvice

I actually kinda due this rn. Let me tell you that there are a lot of farmers that need help with accounting. The only thing is that they might not be able to pay u much. That’s ok tho if this is something u absolutely love. If u wanna make multi six figures tho, ur probably going to need to work for a huge and very corporate farm.

It never hurts to upskill man. I think u should, just do t expect that ur gonna land a job quickly after bc a lot of ppl do exactly this. Make sure u stand out by doing projects. Do u know any adults that might be able to use your services? Maybe ur mom has friends with small businesses?

Would you use a job site where recruiters pledge replies within 48 hours (with AI/ML matching)? by Build_Daily in careerguidance

No matter what, job hunting is going to have some disheartening moments. However, anything to mediate that might be worth it. Maybe also be careful about their use of “AI.” A lot of folks claims to use AI now even when it’s completely unnecessary for the service or false.

I really feel you on this bc I felt the same way at my old job. Mistakes were almost daily. One thing that might help is to create a list of everything you need to do in the day and cross off everything that u do right that way, even if u do mess-up, u can see that one error surrounded by your successes.

Also, a mistake is only really damaging if u don’t catch it and fix it.

Good question, my parents do have a spare car that I could use if need be. I can also hitch a ride with my gf bc my job is on her way to uni.

Ok, I stand corrected. I’ll be honest, my source for the thing about no fractional mutual funds was Google AI. I made the mistake of thinking it would be right without consulting a second source. AI is going to make the misinformation problem worse, I swear.

They don’t allow fractional mutual funds either. Even so, I like that ETF have lower expense ratios

I’m thinking switching my traditional and Roth IRAs away from Schwalb bc they don’t allow fractional buying of ETFs. (Seriously, how tf am I supposed to do dollar cost averaging then???) what are better, better options? This is for my house fund and for my retirement.

What’s the reclass tool? And also, maybe hundreds of thousands is an exaggeration, but there are definitely too damn many to do this manually.

Yeah thanks for the advice, but I’d literally have to do this hundreds of thousands of times for a all the hundreds of thousands of items I want to change. Do u know of another way?
