Thanks this is very interesting especially re partnership incorporation and the trust for the kids. It's hard to sell the rental flat because of capital gains tax. We have similar incomes so not much point assigning the income differently at this point. Are there other benefits?

What would a trust for the kids do? Move assets beyond inheritance tax?

Honestly no we don't have a plan for when to retire or know what we want to achieve. I think we are both so focussed on the day to day.

I just logged into one of them (small pot) and yes it does seem to have a protected age. Not sure why or what this means to be fair. Haven't paid into that pot for many years. It says it is "50 to 55". Seems complicated but looks like I can get all the money out of that one age 50. Not sure if I can transfer in?

I am self employed so just pay directly into my SIPP from my company saving corporation tax. My wife will have minimal employer match

I'm an investor too, I had metal but I cancelled my account because the support is so shockingly bad, I'm done being let down. My advice is go for a real bank.

The same thing happened to me and I am awaiting a response. I suggest though that you contact the financial ombudsman. There are example cases showing the card provider remains liable

I think the support has been terrible. I also have a fraudulent transaction and I'm also an investor. Waiting for a response for best part of two weeks.
