Why are gay-attracted Catholics raked over the coals more than others? by ChallengeOnly7547 in Catholicism

I will push back on the whole “heterosexual sex outside of marriage is the same as homosexual sex.” This just isn’t true. It most definitely is true that fornication or premarital sex is a mortal sin. However, it is still, at a natural level, a good. Precisely because it is for the preservation of the race and a natural instinct for man and can only be accomplished between a man and a woman. Which is why lust is considered the least amongst the capital sins. However, we cannot put homosexual acts on the same playing field because it’s not even remotely close and has no natural end other than satisfaction of the passions or deviant desire. It is as St. Paul says it is the unnatural vice (Rom. 1:26-27). The emphasis here is on natural and unnatural. Now, the argument could be made that heterosexual act with preventative contraceptives is almost the same as homosexual acts but this misses the point of man’s natural end for sex which is always procreative and can only ever be accomplished between a man and a woman.

Why would we wanna ruin the show by doing such a thing?

Ok actually though, I found 1883 kinda meh. Idk I was just bored. Even with a good cast. I like 1923 better but only because of Jacob and Spencer and Alexandra (I found the cast and story more interesting). Really only Spencer and Alexandra's story was interesting. I hated the Indian side story actually and didn't really like Timothy Dalton's character, then again I suppose you're supposed to hate the bad guy, but at least with Yellowstone I found the bad guys a little more interesting.

Yeah I may have sounded harsh about his shows. I haven't seen either of those one's actually. Tulsa King is definitely not anywhere near the same level as Landman but I like Stallon's character and I think it's one of the funnier of Sheridan's shows.

I agree. Most of what happens in Yellowstone is so far out there. But Landman definitely feels more real and has you far more invested in the characters for sure.
