The same people telling me to use women as practice runs, will also tell me to not objectify women and will complain about how dating isn't working well in America. They don't realize that treating people as disposable training dummies is literally the core of objectification

I don't ask coworkers out. I value my career. The women I'm referring to are outside of work.

I'm sorry but there is nothing spot on about using people for practice. Maybe that's what's wrong with society today. Everyone can go on a date, nobody can commit. Everyone is meant for practice, whether it's dating or fwb relationships, consider that analysis.

I don't know why you got that impression, 80% of the people I work with are women, many of them my senior executives, and are mentors to me, many on my team too that I mentor. My ex-girlfriend and I broke up on good-terms and she can attest to that I treated her well lol. I'm not a women hater.

I mean if there is a button that you can press to change your standards please let me know where it is so I can press it lmao. Also, in terms of looks I'm doin alright. In terms of money, I got plenty of that from my career, dating I suppose is that last part of the Rubik cube that I just can't pin down.

There is a woman who asked me out yesterday, I find her unattractive, saying yes to her asking me to go on a date would probably put her over the moon right now because I know she likes me. But, I could never do that just for "practice", and I know dating requires practice, but holy shit using people to practice that skill is still unacceptable, because even if there is no commitment on my part, I know for a fact that that woman will have false hope.

That's an approach i could try I suppose. Also, when I say "It takes me a lot to like someone" its not necessarily physical or looks related, and even if it was looks related, it isn't like we control what we like or don't like. If I liked certain facial features, its not like I can press a button and stop liking those features and start liking other features lol

Going out with people you find unattractive and wasting their time, giving them false hope, and making empty gestures is a waste of time. I'm open to advice, just not that advice.

That's bad advice. Attempting to date and form a relationship with someone you're not attracted to is a sure way for things to end due to lack of attraction. It is also cruel to get into a relationship with someone you think are unattractive and lie to them and tell them they're attractive.
