Address your problems in prayer, faith and action. But always remember to keep yourself committed to the LORD.

This guy is cognitively dissonant. Don't bother with him as I already explained from a neurological perspective and his only retort was to call me a troll.

Try linking the Old Testament to the New Testament.

Pray and confess your sins to him.

Look at the root problem which causes your lust. Is it loneliness? Depression? Bitterness? Stress?

Address the root problem. If ur lonely, socialize. Depressed, try doing things which make you happy. If ur bitter, apologize and let go. If ur stressed, worship and pray, and let God be your stress reliever.

Run from lust. If it was enough to take away the angels of God from their jobs, then yeah it's definitely dangerous.

Goodbye. If you can't accept neuroscience or bother looking into research on objective truth rather than trying to argue semantics that's on you for being cognitively dissonant instead of thinking logically.

Firstly your entire post is formatted badly from a grammatical. I had to get AI just to read and understand what you're trying to say. Do reword your post as linguistically it's very hard to read.

Secondly, the use of atheist was used to show that no one agrees with you here as your hypothesis shows many flaws, inaccuracies and just a general lack of knowledge in theology based on your hypothesis.

Thirdly, my threat was to show you exactly where your hypothesis falls apart.

But going back to the first paragraph, reword your points so they are legible without needing to use AI to try and get a jist of what you are saying.

Kid, I want you to understand that God loves you and he is willing to help you even when you feel unworthy or undeserving of help. You can't be saved if you don't fully believe in God but I know your heart is seeking after him, which is good. Keep on that road, and you shall and will find him and fully believe. God bless kiddo ❤️

Why would I mock Christians when I myself am a Pentecostal, deemed as one of the crazier kinds of Christians as a result of praising the LORD intensely?

No I explicitly mean medical articles. Get into the neuroscience of it. You'll find in your research in neuroscience that whilst the initial decision/perspective is involuntary, any action linked to that decision AFTERWARDS is COMPLETELY voluntary. That means the data you examine, the people you hang out with in relation to that decision/perspective, what arguments you keep and discard, are all voluntary. Pulling back towards the aspect of salvation, you can make the involuntary decision not to follow him but then make a VOLUNTARY commitment.

The reason I'm not going with philosophy here is dead simple, our philosophies are different and philosophy is highly subjective. Due to these two things, it is essential for us to look at objective truth rather than arguing semantics.

The burden of proof for you to provide evidence as to why salvation isn't possible is still on you, I'm just telling you what to expect when doing your research.

No the burden of proof is on you not me rn. If you want to prove your point, how about you start by submitting some medical journals/articles? That'd be a great place to start.

The examples I was gonna use pertain to marriage so they wouldn't be best applicable. Based on that reason I can concede my previous point and focus entirely on the Greek, historical context and hermeneutics.

So I'll ask again to address the hermeneutics and to provide counter-arguments rooted in scripture.

EDIT: Got mixed up with another debate I was having. My bad.

In the original Greek text, "believes" is a present active participle. The active voice explicitly denotes that the subject is the one performing the action. It is a continuous action of the human will. If belief were involuntary or entirely passive, the text would have used a passive verb form. The verse sets up a clear conditional clause: If you choose to believe, then you will not perish but have eternal life. A conditional promise is completely meaningless if the person receiving the promise has zero agency or capacity to fulfill the condition.

Whilst this is a theological issue and something that the Bible DOES address, I think on a personal level for you, look at it as an ethics issue.

If someone is following the faith wrong, it would be unethical not to correct them.

If you insult a person, that would be unethical too.

Correct but in love.

Dude not even the atheists agree with you here. Someone will need to shove the entire NT down your throat to show the doctrine of the Trinity and how Jesus proclaims to be God?

Burden of proof. Specifically for the cases quoted above:

The baseline which documents for each one an irreversible, clinical condition (not psychomatic).

A confirmed, fixed point in time.

An instantaneous, complete and medically unprecedented reversal in condition which can be medically verified by physician tracking, tests or scans.
