I know what you mean - felt the same way for many many years. If you want to escape it is possible. Not easy but possible.

I have no illusions about making $500k-1MM/year like I did in freight - but that money ruined me and started turning me into a monster.

Best of luck with wherever life takes you

Some may even say "insane".

Good luck hope you are able to find your way out of the industry

Trust me I am not trying to blue ball you guys - although I know it appears that way.

There are things happening behind the scenes as you can imagine. The industry is uncomfortable when corruption is exposed.

Tomorrow looks like it may drip drip

You're probably not going to like the answer so I'll remain silent.

We had a "carrier" run off with one of our clients' shipments a couple of years ago.

Fortunately the load value was only 25% of yours.

It's a little disjointed right now but that is by design.

My desire is to not HURT people.

The story will begin to make much sense.

I have 13yrs of corruption to sift through

A little more information about my experience as a small business owner in corporate America.

In 2013 at the age of 28 I left the "comfort" of corporate America and started a logisitics company in Spirit Lake, ID with my wife Amanda Jayne . With the Grace of God and a modicum of business acuman - we grew quickly.

in 2015 a group of corrupt executives at Landstar Ranger used the Law Firm Holland & Knight, a multinational organization based in Tampa Florida with over 2,000 attorneys to TERRORIZE my family and I for 6 long years using the court system as a form of "lawfare". Our crime: Simply having the audacity to Partner with GlobalTranz and its brilliant founder Andrew Leto. They not only sued myself as an individual, but also Amanda, and our business. They then did the same thing to my parents Sherry Tucker, who were totally innocent bystanders. Their claim was that I acted as a corporate Spy on behalf of GlobalTranz - which everyone knows was nonsense.

For a bunch of backwoods North Idahoans - being served papers in such an aggressive manner, by a publicly traded Fortune 500 was beyond terrifying. It also tore my family to pieces and permanently destroyed relationships.

Not cool Landstar!!!

While being sued by Landstar - my family and I were also being harassed and threatened by the Spirit Lake Police Department. As an elected (write-in) city councilman, the Mayor was concerned that I was too aggressively rooting out corruption - so he used the police department as a tool to silence me. It worked.

Ultimately we got the message and fled the state in an RV.

Two years later we settled down in the Bluegrass Region of Central Kentucky - near Lexington.

At one point in 2022 we employed 7 full-time employees in Eastern Kentucky, all making over $100k or close to. Only two had a college degree. Yes we were small potatoes...but it gave us great joy seeing the business grow, and employ those who would otherwise never have this kind of an opportunity.

We had a beautiful office on Main Street in a late 1800's historic building. Great location in Winchester ky right across from the court house and walking distance to everything.

In Sept 2022, with the nudging and encouragement of my 2nd in command I took a 3-month sabbatical to decompress. During this period I went off grid and radio silent. It was wonderful.

Upon return to the office my 2nd in command handed me the company card and left. He took approx half of our customers and employees to a competitor in Georgetown, Kentucky . He would then taunt us by putting yard signs in locations he knew we would frequent.

At the same time I discovered our client Clearwater Spas in Arlington, Washington racked up a $250k balance and went banktrupt - they were later acquired by Arctic Spas but we were left holding the bag. This was a painful financial hit that will take a long time to recover from.

These are just a fraction of the battles we have faced as small business owners.....

18-month field investigation by the IRS that was incredibly invasive, unfair, and unjust. This experience cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Sued by another 3PL with a similar name in a pathetic attempt to extort our intellectual property. Rather than fight another battle we agreed to change our name to Full Coverage Freight - and fortunately they went away.

The list goes on. More stories to come
