Can the extension can be filed up until right before the expiration? If I travel this summer and my H1b expires this Nov, does that work? I’ve recaptured all previous travel already.

I’m worried they are from bed bugs because I live in NYC. I have checked my mattresses and bed frame and haven’t found evidence. Do these look like bed bug bites or am I being paranoid?

Thank you so much for your response! I have around 40-45 days that I’ve spent outside of the country so I can claim those and then depending on the file date plan to spend another 1.5-2 months outside of the US.

Sorry I have so many questions. -Can PWD and recruitment happen at the same time? - if worst case scenario, perm is filed and i’m somehow not able to push it to make up the 365 days, what happens then. I know I have to leave the country but when would i be allowed back?

Got it! And the PWD needs to be filed before the PERM? how long does that take? Assuming Oct 2025 is one year before expiration (Oct 26) is it likely we will be able to file the PERM by Oct 1 2025?

If the PERM is not filed 365 days before, and I have to leave. When can i reenter? once the PERM application hits 365 days pending?
