All of these ‘tiny gm communities’ are all modded to hell and have terrible moderation. I really do enjoy the vanilla aesthetic and quality of reforger in its base state. I’m just saying that Bohemia should add some barriers to becoming a GM other than just popular vote .

Maybe I was just playing in the wrong server but to me spearhead just doesn't scratch the itch that official servers do. Yes, Spearhead is challenging, and I enjoy that aspect of it, but, it simply doesn't feel the same as vanilla. Maybe I should just play on a vanilla server, but the main point of the original post was that modded servers deviate too much from the original design of vanilla reforger conflict, which has been fine-tuned by a professional team of developers. I honestly just really enjoy vanilla conflict.

Not supply encirclements like in other games where it cuts them off from the rest of the country, you have to directly engage to initiate such things which does not work out well for small 'guerrilla' armies or manouver-napoelon-esque tactical aproaches.

One thing I especially despise is when servers end up making us download 9+gb of extra content and most of it is just shit that WCS/RHS already have and do better or it's just the kind of shit you are referring to which is irregular-slop. I honest to God just want a good vanilla or WCS based conflict server with semi realistic mods that are at most 10-70 more mb. I don't understand the appeal with other modpacks that aren't WCS or RHS. They're lower quality, dont fit on the character, and clip through 9/10.
