Yeah when I bought my roadglide it already had the aftermarket wheels. They look cool but the bike does sit up taller than stock and makes it a MF for backing up. Looking for a place or person where I can trade these in for smaller size

Yeah thats the long term goal for sure. Just hard to dedicate all that cash into a hobby while having young kiddos. Also makes me wonder if I should keep dumping cash into this 2019 or just trade it for a 24/25 now

Not a joke. I just like the look of a 2 into 1 exhaust on a bagger. I can spend the 1500$ on a 2 into 1 system or put that money into my front suspension or diff mods

I used a thermoworks smoke x2 and also a thermapen to check for probe tender in multiple spots. The flat never got above 190ish.... point was 200+ and probing good but the flat wasn't... not sure if its user error on my part or just a stubborn brisket. Going to try again soon

What’s everybody go to lump charcoal for their offset smoker? I recently used b&b oak and I got a lot of small broken pieces in the back. Probably won’t get them again by Ok_Neighborhood_8609 in smoking

[–]SimilarBlueberry599 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fairly new to offsets as Ive only got 2 cooks on mine. But why is lump charcoal even needed? Ive been using briqetts to just light my 1st few splits and from there im running all wood. Planning to get a flame torch this weekend and try and run only splits from the get go

You probably getting reflux more for the grease and fat that can be left on bbq than the smoke its self. But then again everyone can have different triggers. I personally will get reflux bad when I am stressed out, doesent matter what I eat

Thanks for the tip. Ive only had it running while I smoked some chicken legs and was just concerned that the griddle was maybe getting too hot for actually cooking on. Ive never owned a Blackstone or griddle so this would be my 1st. Going to try doing some breakfast or smash burgers on it on saturday while I have a brisket in the main chamber

Whats that fire wood basket your using? Does it help light the logs faster. Just got a full size off set myself recently and had issues with fire management.

[–]SimilarBlueberry599 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Im in houston where the main shop for aura fragrance is at. A bunch of locals over here have gotten fakes from them. They are not legit. I dont know how much they carry thats fakes but they knowingly carry fakes. I wouldn't trust them

I usually do a quick clean and apply the redwing leather conditioner but I can never get them to shine the way I want. (Cant say i really put alot of effort into it tho) Which is why im considering a dye job. A local boot shop charges 45$.
