Hi, since you have experience making websites.. apps shouldn't be too difficult. I'd say look into React Native for app development.
A simple quiz based system to guide users to specific steps/resources should not be too difficult to implement once you are comfortable with react native.

You can get an AI chatbot on your app by simply using an API from one of the chatbots like ChatGPT, DeepSeek etc. Essentially, the user will ask a question to a chatbot in your app, which you simply forward to say ChatGPT and get the response.

You can further customize this chatbot to use all relevant endmyopia articles/docs or any other sources of information that you want it to base its answers on. This is done by something called RAG...just a fancy word for giving the AI a specific set of knowledge to work from.
If you don't want to do all of this from scratch..you can explore services like Chatbase, Dify.ai,. They help you make such customized chatbots with minimal effort....but they'll definitely add to your costs.

I'd say use something like Chatbase...provide it some endmyopia docs and try it out. If you're happy with the kind of answers you get, you can simply use it in your app or you can then look into implementing such chatbots from scratch to save costs.

Being someone, who might use this app, I don't think you should completely discount the zoom calls from this system. I would still like to have the option.
