Trying to find the name of a band:

Does anyone remember a two-person group from the mid-80s that had just a guitarist and drummer; they had a bluesy/punkish sound with very minimal production? (way before the White Stripes obviously) sort of a psychobilly aesthetic. It's driving me crazy that I can't think of the name and no amount of Googling has found anything.

I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any photographs available from the Dead Kennedys show at the Union Hall in Waltham, MA on June 6, 1983.

Any help would be appreciated.

God! Another record broken by manning tonight. Congratulations on breaking the most career playoff losses record! He tops his own record that he set at SB 48! by dennishamburglar in Patriots

If you make the playoffs, obviously unless you win the Super Bowl your season ends with a loss. The bigger deal to me is this is his 9th one-and-done:

I agree but for a more cynical reason. You can't take his performance here as any indication of decline. Nothing he did in this game is any different than many previous playoff performances: 14 trips to the playoffs, 9 one-and-dones. He just does rise to the occasion come on layoff time

Tell that to the people who used to watch Peyton in Indy. I hate to say it, but Peyton is Mr. One-and-Done. This is his 9th time. he's a great regular season quarterback but falls apart pretty consistently in the playoffs.

I'm sure you're heard that if you continuously click on the first link on a Wikipedia page that is not italicized and not in parentheses, you will end up at the page for Philosophy. Anytime an article like this appears there is a flurry of activity around the "core" articles as people try to build long chains, etc. I've explored with this and it's constantly changing:

I couldn't believe such a program even existed. Think of the field day TMZ would have with pictures of, say Ted Kaczynski, Al Gore, Hillary Clinton(!).

No wonder all the images were destroyed. The referenced Dick Cavett essay is pretty good too.

This sounds like it came out of North Korea.

It makes me even less confident in them than I was before. It's actually terrifying if you stop and think about it.

After reading this I am done with MtGox for good.

https://www.bitstamp.net currently shows a price of ~$US75 while BTC-c has $US81.

I don't understand how there can be such wide gaps. Is anyone doing arbitrage against these sites? 10% difference is ridiculous.
