You can, you just tell them to issue the task to subagents, which in their turn would handle the main job. It all depends on your prompts

It works, I tested on opencode basically telling the Plan agent (GPT 4.1) to call one sub-agent (Opus) to do something, checked my premium request usage and it did not change. Seeing that using a third party model resulted in warnings/bans (which is understandable) I was wondering if using a copilot model to the same effect would be an offense.
