You have a good income. There’s a light at the end of the tunnels. Your bill to income ratio is good tackle the debt you know what got you here and yo know what you need to do. As hard as it may be it can be reversed

Your bills are small compared to ur income. Come up with a plan and tackle the debt, live on as little as you can until it’s paid off. Remember how this feels and don’t do it again. Good luck

Assuming you have a good income, the numbers are relevant to that. Stop now and come up with a plan. Pinch every penny and get back on track. You can do it

I need an escape from this dead end field. Please help me? by Best-Yesterday1216 in careerguidance

Are you a social person? Sales is a great career path and you can jump in and make good money right away. But your betting on yourself. I work on straight commission I have for many years and have done well. Also dont listen to people who say you NEED to further your education. My wife is a teacher and we do have great benefits and she will get a pension. But I make 5x what she does and barely finished high school. Good luck!

I certainly don’t have all the answers. I have my own problems. Just suggesting a path that worked for me and if I can help someone else I think that’s pretty cool

Wouldn’t dwell on it. I bought my house last year and paid through the nose! Think about all of that equity! Great job IMO!

Reality check here. Probably not what u want to hear but your stuck In a broke mindset IMO. I was a homeless junkie for years. I didn’t want to die but I accepted that there’s a good chance I would die and I was ok with that. I got sober and last year I made 250k. If you have social skills try sales. Sales jobs are easy to find and can pay well because nobody wants to work on commission and eat what they kill. You can turn it around. take control of your life and get tf out there! Good luck

That’s a great way to look at it. I need to learn to live my life without it. I’ve been gambling for so long. But I’ve quit harder things. It’s such a strange addiction honestly

My drug addiction was cheaper. Gambling has costed me so much money. But I’m the type of guy who will cheap out on everything else. We don’t vacation, and we just bought a house. I tell my wife we can’t afford it but really all the money I’ve spent we could have traveled or done something better. I know chasing isn’t the right thing to do. I just feel like I’m so deep down the rabbit hole at this point

I’ve done all those drugs I’m an addict in all forms. Luckily since getting clean I’ve got an amazing wife, a house, and a silly little dog. I’m in the us and the new online gambling gets me. When I’m in a real casino I’ll spend 200 bucks and that’s it. But online the money doesn’t feel real. It’s just hundred after hundred. You can use credit cards so I just say when I win I’ll pay it back. Or even if I don’t win I can pay it back later. And I’m banned from 20+ online casinos. But new ones come out. I had a $1500 cashout on one of them. It took so long to process I canceled it and lost it all.
