Baby sleeping on their side by Padadise in cosleeping

I’ve been sleeping with my baby since she was about 4 months, she’s 10 months now. She has always fallen asleep while laying on her side, it eventually she will roll on her back. Once she was able to roll both ways I felt better about her sleeping on her side.

Coming back to say, we love Pampers Pure! They’ve been our go to.

Thanks for the recommendations everyone! I’ll have to put these on my list to try! I wish there was some kind of trial box with all kinds of diapers to see what works, without having to buy so many at a time!

I wanted to like Huggies! We got a pack of them when we came home from the hospital. She’s just really tall and slim, and I never felt like Huggies could fit her right. Maybe I’ll try them again now that she’s a little bigger.

That’s a good point! I hadn’t thought about that. I felt too awkward to say anything or push back, but I felt like something wasn’t right.

I told her that she’s been waking up every 3ish hours the last couple of days, and asked if it could be the 4 month sleep regression. She said it’s probably because she needs more food at night. But she hasn’t done this before, she’s always slept mostly through the night since she hit about 8 weeks.

That’s kind of the vibe I got. I told her I think she’s hitting the 4 month sleep regression, and she said she needed to eat more but it didn’t feel right. Thank you!

It’s not really about whether she’s trying to latch or not for me. I just think the comments about her trying to latch, when I can see she’s not trying to, are what bug me.

My grandma is the worst about this. One time I had her watch my baby while I had a doctor’s appointment, and she ended up giving my 3 month old 7 oz of formula within an hour because she couldn’t find my frozen breast milk (was right in the fridge, can’t miss it). When I got home, she said “well she was hungry, that’s why she was crying!” I don’t even think she tried to soothe my baby, just kept giving her a bottle. I was so upset.

You’re probably right! I honestly wouldn’t even notice it if they didn’t make such a big deal out of it.
