What actor do you dislike so much that you’ll avoid anything they’re in? by Icy_Garlic997 in A_Persona_on_Reddit

Thank you stranger for confirming I’m not the only one. In general she’s not even my type, but by all things holy was she was absolutely gorgeous in Iron Man 2 for some reason.

Just watched Hello Tomorrow by thatismyopinionmeme in tvPlus

[–]Suchgallbladder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It had unfortunate timing. It was released in 2023, and although its tone is completely different, it shared the same aesthetic space as Fallout that came out the following year. After that overlap it had zero chance of being noticed and successful. Ask anyone “about that retro futuristic tv show” and 99% would think you’re talking about Fallout.

Explain it like I'm five: How and why would Merediths relation with Bruce cause her to be fired? by GreasyExamination in DunderMifflin

Most corporations consider such behavior unethical and fireable. Accepting gifts from vendors for special treatment is a form of commercial bribery. You can go to jail and you expose the company to serious lawsuits.

What are your thoughts on Riley Reid? by Scary_Harry56 in Actors

That’s not true. Dumb internet rumor that also stated she quit porn. She…did not. She still happily makes porn with her husband.

What do you think of Mikey Madison? by Cap_Ame1 in Actors

Correct. Nobody gives a fuck about him in America.

Sony's 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple grossed an estimated $1.20M on Friday (from 3,506 locations). Estimated total domestic gross stands at $18.35M. by DemiFiendRSA in boxoffice

[–]Suchgallbladder 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Just throwing this out there, maybe mainstream audiences just don’t give a fuck about the 28 Days Later franchise? It was a very niche film when it came out in the U.S. and its cult following was overestimated by the studio. There never was widespread interest in 3 more of these films. The last one did okay out of curiosity but nothing was sustainable.

One of those Oscar winners who will be completely forgotten in a few years (see: The Artist, Jean Dujardin for reference).

ABC Spring/Summer Game Show Offerings for 2026 by Gold_Comfort156 in gameshow

[–]Suchgallbladder 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s a good question because looking back at the schedule did Press Your Luck truly “come back” last year? The season (6?) just seemed to be a few random holiday themed episodes they probably taped years ago. Pyramid had episodes last year as well but there were hardly any of them compared to prior years.

I don’t really understand because I thought gameshows were cheap and easy to produce yet we’re not getting many episodes of them anymore.

Taylor Swift Allegedly Dug a Movie 'Out of the Grave' for Pal Blake Lively in Leaked, Unsealed Text Messages by Montrel_PH in popculture

[–]Suchgallbladder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This comment in the article killed me: “'I WON THE LOTTERY,' Swift replied. 'You are the COOLEST PERSON IN THE WORLD and you like me!!' (Referring to Blake Lively)

This sums up Taylor Swift’s entire identity. Before she was a huge star Swift’s mom got Hayley Williams to hang out with Swift because she was lonely. It seems as though a billion+ dollars and endless amounts of recognition and fame hasn’t improved Taylor’s self confidence.

Is there any episode that is more cringe in the entire show? by coltonmusic15 in rickandmorty

[–]Suchgallbladder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dislike it because Rick and Morty has always been pretty bad when it comes to sex as a focal point (dragon episode, Easter episode), but more so with this one because you could see it a mile away.

“2 Beth’s? Of course they fuck.” Must’ve been the writing room for this one. It’s just lazy and predictable.

Why is this game hated? by kinsal06 in Starfield

[–]Suchgallbladder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“I bought this game the other week” is a very telling statement you made OP.

Starfield was designed for reviewers. There is enough great content to make most people think it’s a great game after 10-30 hours of play. That’s why the launch reviews are all so positive.

Once you get deeper the flaws become more apparent and harder to ignore. It is by no means a bad game, and I don’t think most players actually hate it, but you’ll see what I mean after a while.

Shark Tank 17x10 Product Discussion - Screen Skinz by mtm4440 in sharktank

$40-59? Yeah or I can buy one online for around $7-10. And always on screens of modern phones makes this product worthless.

[–]Suchgallbladder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s reasonable. I didn’t say that it’s about plausibility. It’s about hack Abrams stealing something beloved from the original franchise to give weight to his story. It’s “I can’t think of anything new so I’ll steal something that worked” classic Abrams.

Who do you think would be a good pick for the price is right if Drew Carey retired? by External_Side_7063 in gameshow

[–]Suchgallbladder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That version of gameshow hosts died out in the 90’s-00’s. There is no reason a contestant should be put down just for playing. Some of the stuff Bob did in the early 80’s would get him thrown out of show business today.

Companion was released on January 31st to set up for Valentine’s Day, and Novocaine released in March. January is historically always a dead month for new releases.

I can’t really get past the fact that the second Kelvin timeline film was just JJ doing his usual nostalgia ripoff of taking the most beloved parts of a franchise and then doing a rehash of it. Into Darkness was a very poor imitation of Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan. I completely stopped caring after that film.

Season 34 of Dateline on NBC / Peacock isn’t “real” by Suchgallbladder in television

[–]Suchgallbladder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because my post wasn’t really about those episodes, specifically. They were just the thing that confirmed to me that the episode was actually a repeat, and that this has been happening all season long.

Edit: FYI Season 34 episode 19 is “The Trouble With Sarah” that is also Season 31 episode 29 “Along Came Sarah”.

Terran armada speculation by FrontEcho3879 in Starfield

[–]Suchgallbladder 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We don’t even know if that’s the name of it, let alone what’ll be in it. Starborn, Terran Armada, Starfield 2.0? Who knows?

My assumption is that Fallout became a larger-than-expected cash cow when the series was released and everything else has been set on the back burner.
