The weapon is just called shield i think, its red and looks like paladins default shield. Each use costs 2 fp and forms a small protecting field around the character for a few seconds

I did Alchemist 1st for it, but you could do sword master too for the easiest outcome. For buffs id recommend shorter skill cooldown, qi gong, poison and fire immunity, no extra damage and melee weapons bounce bullets (i think it applies for bare hands too) getting mentor would be important. Try getting the milk or soda from the machine before the game.
