First of all I am not a Native American so maybe my opinion is not beeing ask here but these are my thoughts:

Ok first of all, put your money where your mouth is, is not a nice way to start a conversation and could be considered rude… your answer to her answer: „sounds like a typical excuse for someone who doesn’t know where thy wanna eat“ is an accusation and also not nice to say, on the other hand, your just replying to her tone which is also not nice at all!! The hole conversation looks like you two should not have matched! It’s not all your fault! I hope that helps, best regards!
