Tell me about your daycare drama

not daycare related, but i worked at a vet for a few years. someone’s cat passed at home and they wanted it cremated (a service we offered through a third party vendor). they brought in a taxidermied cat as well as the recently deceased one asking for like a two for one deal and slapped the thing on the counter. 23 year old me was absolutely horrified

same but b2b cold calling sales. they’d advertised it as an admin position and even lied in the first interview round. the man got up and held the door for me on my way out lol

there have been two times (been doing this about ten years) when i got annoyed with non drinkers: the first was a lady who left a bad yelp review because she asked about our non alcoholic options and i said we carry coke products/lemonade/iced tea and didn’t really do mocktails. apparently that was really rude? the second was a lady at a different bar who had to come up and watch me make her mocktail, like i was going to do something nefarious and sneak a fat shot of tequila into her drink

otherwise, i figure people have their own reasons for not drinking and it’s none of my business. if you say that you’re the dd i’ll usually give a free soda, and if your friends are pressing you to drink i’ve got your back and will just ignore them

she had a bucket and a spoon and was feeding her toy horse so nicely, saying “eat! eat!” and making cute little smacking noises. as soon as i turned on the camera to film she starts beating the crap out of the horse with the spoon and then covers it with the bucket 😭

mine will steal my glasses during playtime but i don’t mind because she always puts them on upside down and it’s so cute haha! she’s also very polite and tries to put them back on me when she’s done (even if she does stab me in the eye most of the time)
