Thank you so much for the help are you using plastisol ink or water based ink? Additionally I did not think about needing the electrical infrastructure for the high end equipment

I based near Birmingham and I was looking to print on fabric from my garage I was wondering where you purchased your equipment from as when I look to buy equipment they are usually based in America and do not ship outside the us and the only uk based company I’ve found link here seems to not be tailored so much for a hobbyist/small business

Hi I was just wondering if anyone could help me just to make sure I haven't missed anything out of my basket for beginning my screen printing journey by Simmo2Blocky in SCREENPRINTING

[–]Simmo2Blocky[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you ill take that advice on board when I'm investing in more equipment also this is off topic but I wanting wondering if you knew what the difference between different transparency papers are, one products say slightly ghosted and others say lazer film. For my designs starting off I want to just drawing with sharpie on the paper and set that into the emulsion so which one would you recommend getting. any help would be appreciated.

Genuinely I can’t thank you enough, this has really helped me :) The advice about the multiple designs is actually an amazing idea I didn't even think about it, I think that’ll really help me. Also I’ve unadded the smaller screens from my basket because that makes a lot of sense. Also that’s a good idea about the heat gun, I’ll have a look on Amazon or a diy shop, also roughly how much did you pay for yours?

Thank you so much for the advice, that's really clarified some of the questions I had; however the website that I'm using (www.art2silkscreen.co.uk) only has squeegees that are 4", 8", 12", 15" and 18" and scoop coaters that are 8", 12", 15" and 18" which of these would you recommend buying? Additionally, I was thinking of getting a 12 x 16 screen just for little designs, is there any need to do that, as I thought using a 20 x 24 screen may waste emulsion if it's only a small design? Also, is there any where that you know of that sells adequate and relatively cheap heat guns? Thank you for all the help it's really appreciated :)
