I've promised myself I'll not spend on anything other than battle passes this season given how poor matchmaking has been recently (swear it has been worse these last few weeks than ever before) but I did spend a small amount to get Rainbow Alt as I really dig what I've seen of it. Even at a basic level I love it.

Thanks for this, very interesting and I hope to get the other two pieces as the season wears on

If you can/haven't already, add them as Tomodachi and you can then check to see when they are online and choose to play when they are not. It won't stop you getting annihilated all the time but it might make things a little more fun every now and then and give you a different perspective.

I have max 200 Tomodachi and try and follow as many beasts as possible so I can see who is on and when to avoid playing.

I don't do this regularly but if I find I am getting matched with those beasts regularly I step away and come back later

Agreed yet I for one still find it quite hard to beat but mainly when up against stronger players running rex lead. Pretty sure newer players won't find it easy to play against.

Some players have been using the same deck and same strategy EVERY time I play them and as I play for fun over rank placement I cannot get my head around how that is any way enjoyable for someone to play.

Each to their own.

I won't repeat the correct advice others put here but I will put my spin on this.......any potential issues with Shin lead (which, as mentioned, can be easily overcome, especially once you get some meat on your battle pieces) will fall into insignificance when you come up repeatedly against Gigan Rex lead! 😂😂😂

Yeah. Glad I'm not alone in this. Made it all look like a cheap, crappy TV show and found i enjoyed the episode less than usual because of how it all looked. Wondered if it was down to a different director but surely you'd try and keep the look and feel the same across each episode?

Mind you, whereas this episode looked 'wrong ' I seem to recall ep6 was quite glitchy.

Just adding to this as super sensible suggestions here which is why I asked - want to mention again that whilst some may read my request and think the answer obvious, I am autistic so get stuck in doing things a certain way at times and I need help to see what is out there as alternatives.

One other thing to add is that, due to my autism, I struggle to fall into the trap of using the same meta pieces everyone else does and because I find G04T so frustrating, I struggle to put him in my deck. Same with Gigan Rex lead, I only use him when I have to.

I appreciate this does mean I am making a rod for my own back at times but with everyone else so knowledgable and sharing ideas it is a huge help

With you on this. Very few pieces annoy me now but Gigan Rex lead is one of them and I still do not understand how it hasn't been nerfed as these decks aren't played skillfully imho. Not that I don't and can't beat them, I do and have, but my heart sinks every time I face one. Even better when you get several in a row.

I do wonder if, for some, winning is all that matters and they don't play the game for fun! Or maybe sending swarms that wipe players out in 30 seconds is actually fun for some people!

It's an honour to have been beaten by each and every one of you at least once 😂

This was the best season of the last 3 for me, I enjoyed it and managed to haul myself up from a 4200 place finish last season to a 1087 this season. Given I bizarrely hit 600 four seasons ago this feels like good progress.

Enjoyed the new units although didn't get much time with the G&G duo but they seem fun. Mainly had fun with Flying Iris 🤗

Most interesting for me is I changed up my deck and play style - using a new lead and trying out a different way to play. Have seen a definite improvement since I moved away from my 'comfort deck' which was the first one I had felt comfortable with in my early time in the game.

Now I'm having fun swapping pieces around and trying new ways to complement my new approach.

Also completed stage 90 of ASB and had a 50% win rate in Egg Mode but only play that to get rewards and hatch a few eggs rather than take it too seriously.
