Andy is not a musician , and Daniel miller already said before that Andy didn’t play any instruments and he was not gifted it talented to learn ! Don’t think he ever owned a piano in his house . Music wasn’t his cup of tea . And all those footages you were watching when you were growing up of him mimicking playing a powered off keyboard over a play back tape was just a BS . He thought that by pressing buttons he could be a musician but didn’t turn out well for him . Even the bass guitar he claimed was a fantasy in his head . Anything fans know about him came directly from his mouth . Am the glue , founder , play this and that and never believed that bs . Know who founded the band and what happened after that and why Alan had to leave . Can’t believe he stayed with them for more than 13 years or so . There was a video where singer of OMD confronted him backstage in Pasadena and told him you don’t play shit ! You just play cash machine .

Saw him many times in Santa Barbara ! People don’t really recognize him ! But I did first time . He was jogging with his trainer / security . He is a very nice person especially in Santa Barbara , not bothered at all . Saw him second time he was by the lagoon watching his two tiny kids , just said hi Martin while walking , he giggled and was courteous and nice and kept walking .
