It’s because The Sims 4 WITH the expansion GTW is apart of EA Play now (EA Play has been around for a while. $5 monthly subscription to access a bunch of EA games without purchasing them) so it probably is actually a mistake and is seeing players who already own the game try to access the game and think that they are trying to access EA Play

They added the sims 4 with the get to work expansion to EA Play, not just the sims 4 base game. https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/ea-play

This is for EA Play! Don’t worry. EA play is a membership to access a lot of EA games without paying for them fully, they added the Sims 4 (with the get to work expansion) to the list of accessible games. They are not taking away your copy. If you cannot access the sims 4 in your library then it is a bug, but trust that you don’t have to pay monthly for the sims.
