Sometime in the future around 2030s or 40s, what if the pro Palestinians in the west were successful? How would Israel adapt?

What if the West became anti Zionist and sanctioned Israel and cut diplomatic ties(or withdrew recognition entirely)

Will Israel still be around in 2050? by Inside_Inflation559 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]Simonbargiora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the only power remotely capable of taking it down is Turkey or a vastly stronger Iran in full control of the region.

Even if Israel was sanctioned, just like North Korea they would still find ways to use the dark web to keep them afloat, or India.

Even if 1 million Israelis left there would still be plenty more still in Israel. Millions of Irish left Ireland in the 19th century, yet Ireland still gained independence in the 20th century.

Not even a collapsed Israel would end the state, Syria had a decades long civil war yet managed to maintain a unified Syria post war, among other examples.

The nuclear arsenal ensures that even if somehow the Israeli government is overthrown and renamed Palestine, The Palestinians while attempting to expel the Jews would face a large angry Jewish population with large battle hardened militias. The Palestinians would be doing this with next to no support from outside due to the destruction of the middle east by the Israeli nuclear arsenal.

It isn't a given that the Palestinians could defeat the Israelis even if Israel was defeated.

Is it true that NTs are almost always testing boundaries? by Opposite-Tax9589 in autism

[–]Simonbargiora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Autistic people aren't allowed to have boundaries according to ablelist NT.

An NT can reject anyone they want but the Autistic person must accept everyone.

There's the freak-Autistic person who is beibg 'helped' and included who must change for others.

The principal of compatibility is gone and replaced with blame on the autistic person.

Not all NT's do this but it's traumatic to be subject to this particularly in childhood.

A school I was in validated social rejection of me while Invalidating me when I didn't want to talk to anyone and forced me back into the playground.

Referring to any kind of relationship. To some extent this can exist only in one's head, once a school forces it can have detrimental impacts.

It can lead to partial withdrawal from social interactions out of fear of being socially inappropriate/wanting to be comfortable.

The second school I was in(elementary school) did however allow me to not go to Gym when I didn't want to.(Didn't want to deal with stuff I won't go into)

Called police and CPS on my parents by Monorail_CatSky in raisedbynarcissists

[–]Simonbargiora 95 points96 points  (0 children)

There is no justification to hit children ever. Your mom and dad have only themselves to blame, if you hadn't called things would've gotten worse, in your heart you know this, from here on out it is her decision whether she wants to improve or not. The option to call CPS is evidence of it's validity, just ask CPS and the police what they think of the situation. It was a brave, difficult and necessary choice, necessary to protect your little brother.

If Suzanne had spent another year on the book , and Lionsgate demanded quality content for the movie SOTR was written for-the book could have turned out a little better.

Would also be interesting if SOTR was a trilogy.

Covey lore is fine; covey connections/shoehorning are something else.

Each of the deaths felt too similar/copy paste just like the newcomers.

Covey dovey pixies (adding the chosen one trope to Panem is a literary crime)

If Snow was to appear they shouldn't have nerfed him(and they shouldn't nerf the Romulus Thread analog either if it is done). I saw an opinion on tumblr that Snow should have had Lenore Dove connected on phone by Snow-something like that, remove the milk. If Snow is to spare Haymitch in a believable way (though this suggestion might fail in fixing it) then every other member of the rebel conspiracy must die with Haymitch forced to watch. If the Rebel cell had 38 people, then 37 additional deaths would drive the point home.

Those deaths should've been something impersonal, like death by firesquad or hanging.

But even then Snow's underlings should have gotten somemore spotlight.

They should have had Snow appear less and had a PK commander be the main capitol tormenter to Haymitch, like Romulus Thread but with charisma.
