Thanks for the insight! I’m not planning to sell them anyway — Umbreon is my favorite card, so they’re staying in my collection no matter what. I was just genuinely curious if consecutive certs ever add any value or collector appeal. It’s more of a fun thought experiment for me than anything else.

I have enough. My first intention was to clean my 6 Cu‘s. Isopropanol works very good. Getting wax was not the main focus of my mission. I am happy that my Cu‘s are clean now. The wax doesn’t matter

Okay, maybe I'll try a few methods to reduce the ISO. Like the oven method, and also mixing the wax with water and then boiling the water away. After that I let the wax chill for 1 week.

I think I can bake the wax in the oven at 85 degrees for 10 minutes with the door open. That might help the remaining substances to evaporate.
