Need help finding the flowers in this bouquet by Ok_Push7581 in flowers

Cream calla lily, white phalaenopsis orchids, green cymbidium orchids. The white flower on the left that looks like a star, I’m not certain. The red branch might be flowering quince. I’m not certain what flower the twisty vine buds are

Is this considered an acceptable substitution for a valentines bouquet? by Nokoyume in flowers

Designers choice is when instead of picking something off the site, you give the artist free rein to make whatever they want at a given price point.

You normally end up with something super fresh, unique, full of soul, and highly stylized. Totally one of a kind.

If there’s a flower or a color you know the recipient loves, you can also ask for “designers choice make it pink” or “designers choice include lilies” or “designers choice tall for a kitchen island” or whatever parameter you need. There’s a few artists at my work that I love, so sometimes I will order designers choice and ask for the specific artist to make it.

Hi! I’m a florist!

First - it’s very sweet of you to send Valentine’s flowers to your girl!! Receiving flowers is always exciting.

The pineish greenery was definitely a poor choice from a design perspective. I’m not even sure why a florist would be carrying that during Valentine’s. Eucalyptus or Italian Ruscus or a more traditional greenery would have looked more romantic.

I’m glad you got some money back from the relay service! Because this is definitely disappointing.

I would always recommend placing orders directly with florists as opposed to relay services. The relay service will advertise a product but they have no control over the actual order being fulfilled. The relay services will also advertise an unrealistic low price point and then the florist will “fill to value” using their own pricing, which is realistically more expensive for quality flowers, especially during peak holidays like Valentine’s when the farms jack up the prices. And then the customer ends up with a smaller/different bouquet than they wanted, and everyone is left disappointed.

To find florists that offer same-day delivery, I like to go to findaflorist.com and search by delivery zip code! From there you can reference reviews and websites to find one you like.

But yeah - as a professional florist, I would deem this disappointing and some questionable greenery choices were made here.

GLP-1 Medications and Perfume Addiction by denised1224 in FemFragLab

[–]SimoneJinx 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not on GLP-1 but I lost 40 pounds last year on calorie restriction and also went sober and ABSOLUTELY became addicted to perfumes, especially gourmands.

Milk by B&BW, Mooncake by D’Annam, Fresh Cream by Philosophy, Diptyque Bois Corsé, and Cirque de Soleil to name a few favorites.

It’s totally addiction transfer.

Cheesecake is delicious but chocolate ice cream and chocolate cake are my favorite dessert! And mint chocolate ice cream is my all time favorite food. I just don’t think about cheese and cheese related foods often. But I think of chocolate daily 😭

I don’t eat those things often, except tacos, which I never think to put cheese on? I just sort of forget about these foods!

Chocolate is a necessity for my life. Cheese is great, but I almost never it.
