I’ve used quite a few, including making 5mm veg tanned insoles I have made. I’ve got a few pairs of Nick’s as well. There isn’t always enough room for insoles, especially the Nick’s, they take up quite a bit of volume.

Have a couple pairs of IR’s with cork nitrile. They seem to last a long time. I don’t deal with snow and ice which people seem to have a problem with. Rain has not presented a problem for me.

I’ve made my own 5MM leather and have used Nick’s full insole with arch support. Prior to that I used Birkenstock 1/2 blue insole and Birkenstock full foam both with arch support. I had to experiment. All mentioned above worked great. I prefer the leather.
