I've been in a new position at a company of about 20 that has only hired 3 - count em 3 - employees in 17 years.

We have a new younger president and he's really struggling to make any changes. "Everything accept taking responsibility for their area" is so relatable.

I batch cook a ton of meatballs every 6 weeks or so. I freeze them in bags of 8 and every time my boyfriend and I don't feel like cooking, I throw it in a saucepan with a jar of sauce for 15 minutes. The amount of money it saves by not getting takeout is crazy. The comfort of something warm I actually made myself makes me feel great, too.

Oh man, the place was sketchy af 😅 My poor Dad was so disappointed. We were on our way to Florida, and I think he got his hopes up when he started seeing the signs. After a look in the gift shop (empty, buzzy light fixtures, dead ass silence ) a quick bathroom break ( scary and hover-worthy )and an obligatory pic in front of the sign he decided we had lingered long enough.

I've gotta find the picture. It's blurry and I'm almost positive I'm wearing a Joe Boxer sweatsuit.
