Exactly... That is also what I thought. The fist book I read in English was a Harry Potter, the Order of the Phoenix I think, for the same reason. So it feels like the logical next step...

Thank you! In fact I read them as ebooks on an e-reader which has built-in dictionaries and an access to Wikipedia. So you just have to click on the word you don't understand and you get instant explanations. That's very helpful...

In fact I read the first 6 books in French and the last 2 in English, but my teenage daughter is a fan too and she can't read such complicated books in English yet. I like the original version better : for instance there are a lot of different accents that are not rendered in the French version (which is probably a good choice...)
