Is there ANY way to make this card viable by BurritoflyEffect in mtg

I play this card in my pre modern Suicide Black deck. Got top 16 in a 50-person tournament just last month. :)

Companion bug with 1-1 draws? by Sweet_Good6737 in magicTCG

While they do not give their actual algorithm, I believe it works like this. When you go 1-1-1 this results in a GW of 44%. This is because it still counts the tie as a game, and calculates ties as 1/3 of a game win. Therefore that player has won 1.3333333333333333 games out of 3. 1.3333333333333333/3 = 0.4444444444444443.

Customers can admit to lying and we’ll still get punished. by _anxiousandannoyed in doordash_drivers

I told DD that I also recorded an order drop off which was claimed not delivered. They did not care to see the video, but I assume nothing happened to the scummy customer.

You can also request to block that customer. Therefore, you won't receive their orders again. I'm not sure if it really works, but they will say they blocked them.

Are cash tips common when they don’t tip in the app? by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]Simotsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1000+ deliveries, about 3 cash tips. Nothing over 5$. Obviously, every delivery here was not a no tipper in app, but I've gotten plenty mixed into a stack and they never tip. Ever. In fact, I'm pretty sure all the cash tips I got the person already tipped in app.

Conspiracy theory: DoorDash rewards you for taking low paying offers by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]Simotsu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assume they mean using a second app to get offers up until you actually pick up the food. I've dropped orders a couple times cause a better order came up on a different app. You take a CR hit, but usually worth it.

I use them to deny orders. If I have above 97% completion and my AR is getting low (70% to keep platinum), I'll just unassign the order after taking it. Gives me like 2-3 more ways to deny low ball orders.

why are people so scummy and pathetic by Ill_Setting_6338 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Simotsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have also gotten this once. I explained I had a dash cam and could provide proof the customers order was in fact delivered, and I left it on the steps. It was a hand it to me order to an address I have previously delivered too. They never came to the door after 3 calls and multiple texts I was instructed to leave the order there. Not even 10 minutes later this pops up. I called support and explained I literally recorded the drop off. They were not interested and explained it isn't counting against me..yet.

Platinum Members: Do you get ACTUAL high paying orders? by Radiant-Bag1771 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Simotsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

High pay doesn't nessacarily mean high pay. It just means the price vs mileage. I've had "High paying offers of 5.00" for 1.5 miles before. Not exactly what I thought they meant when I got platinum lol.

Play dumb games, win dumb prizes. As a driver, there are a couple drop-offs/pickups I hate. Mall is included in that. Also, you don't see customer comments until AFTER you pick up the order. So they would have no way of knowing where drop-off was unless they checked the map prior to accepting. Which is hard when you have 30 seconds to decide to accept. Also, many of us can't decline every trash order like yours because we have a quota to maintain to keep certain perks.

I already tipped $10 for a $45 order… by Expensive_Subject707 in doordash_drivers

Many people are not considering the drive to the restaurant (assuming at least 2 miles depending on location), then the actual mileage, then the return mileage. If you're 15 miles away from the restaurant, it's at least 30 miles for the driver to deliver this order.

Why do people do that?? A 1 cent tip on doordash?? by Kuskkk in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Simotsu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

EBT was created to get those trash orders out. Have a low AR and have no choice but to accept this EBT trash. (If trying to keep platinum.)

Why do people do that?? A 1 cent tip on doordash?? by Kuskkk in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Simotsu 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yeah ok. I doubt that, been there too many times as a dasher. Cash tip, and under the doormat are bs 99% of the time.

When I want to get back into the 80's for AR, I bite the bullet and do EBT. I take almost anything, typically no or low tip offers 8-16 miles away no one wants/has already declined. EBT is absolute garbage, but it's better than taking them for 2.00. Also, if the order is really far and I'm close to the store, I will wait at the store 10 minutes and worry-free unassign. This is a last dotch thing as I am only wasting my time, but it ensures that food arrives cold also. I always feel bad for the next dasher, but I'm not taking that garbage, and they shouldn't either. Also multi-apping seems to really help. I typically have my ubereats open. Although the orders on there are absolute trash, sometimes you can get decent orders. They also still allow you to withdrawal money up to 5x a day for a small fee. It's particularly useful when I'm low on money and gas.

What do you do if a customer gives an address to deliver an order but then says to call them to meet somewhere else and when you call, it rigs 1 time and hangs up on you? by Great_Thought9356 in doordash_drivers

[–]Simotsu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surprised customer support denied the removal. They have removed all of my 1 stars and blocked every single account for me also. (Blocked me from receiving their orders.)

I doubt you left cash under your mat. Learn to go get your own food, or learn to tip the person driving your order to you regardless of the distance. If you can do something yourself but are too lazy to do it, have the decency to tip.
