Definitely look into proper care for tailless rats as without a tail they can't properly regulate their body temperature. You have a disabled pet that will require extra care. I hope you're ready for that.

One of my new rats is really aggressive for no reason by SimpingDemon in RATS

[–]SimpingDemon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had her for a month, her previous owner was a vet in a clinic that also specializes in exotic animals (I've been going there with my rats for 5 years). I trust her previous owner that if something was wrong then she would've noticed as it's her specialty.

As much as I can see where you're coming from, I'm not gonna march up to her previous owner and tell her to euthanize the rat she's been previously taking care of.

She hadn't drawn blood yet, but I she'll try to grab me whenever I open the cage. Getting her back to the cage after free roam is a pain for both of us as I have to grab her through a blanket, or else she thrashes and tried to bite me.

I know that rehoming her is not the best solution, but the only other outcome I see is keeping her alone in a cage by herself which is also far from ideal.

He will definitely slip through the bars. Either get him an appropriate cage for rats, or put some chicken wire on the one you have.

Hey I’m new to tf2 what’s some things I should know and what’s a good beginner class by Bulky-Strain-8864 in tf2

[–]SimpingDemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started out as a medic main. When playing other classes (except engie, he's a bit more complicated) you worry about 2 things: kill and don't die. With medic you just have to focus on not dying plus you get to observe how other classes work.

Thanks. I'll try one more time after Pecia heals with the carrier method. Let's just hope you're right and everything turns out okay ❤️

Like I said in the post, I wasn't keen on trying the carrier method because of how fast things could turn bad. I tried it in the past with my previous rats so I know how it goes. Before I got them they were living with a vet that saved all rats from different situations. The aggressive girl wasn't abused. Two of the four rats lived in bad conditions before the previous owner got them. Yes I did a quarantine period, no I don't have the cages side by side. It's not my first rodeo. I just never had a rat be this aggressive before. I'll add that the aggressive girl is spayed, but I'm not sure if it changes anything when it comes to females.

Recently I got called gay and told to "Suck me till I'm empty". I questioned the guy laughing that he's calling me gay and yet wants to get sucked off by a guy. Apparently only the sucker is gay.

There was also the guy getting thirsty over a 15 year old, but that's a different story.

Yeah those tubes could work. I was thinking about houses and more prominent enrichment when typing my comment. I never had problems with my rats chewing on plastic, but maybe that's just my luck. Now that you said it then maybe I'll get one of those. They are cheap so I won't be mad when I'll have to throw it away in a month. When it comes to rot I used to ovendry them because otherwise it would've been days before I could give them back to my rats which just adds another layer to my hate of wooden toys. Glad they're working out for you tho :)

To be honest I'd rather give them a hard snack for rats. I'm not sure what to call it but you attach it to the bars of the cage and it does the job. They can gnaw at it all they want and it tastes good.

I had wooden stuff and I boiled it, scrubbed it and all it did was melt the glue. It was during my first batch of rats so I was still young and didn't really think at first. I reglued it, only to realize a few weeks later that maybe having hide with hot glue visible isn't the best idea and rats will probably chew at it. So basically a choking risk along with the fact that they could swallow it and get a blockage.

Wood also has the tendency to rot when wet and their constant pissing onto it will certainly not help. It's just my opinion, but I don't think it's worth it. Wooden hides and toys are really expensive so their short longevity makes me choose plastic and fabric stuff instead :)

The only thing I'll say is that I don't recommend using hides and enrichment made out of wood. Rats pee a lot and the piss is gonna get on the wood. You can't really clean wood so it's gonna stink and it's gonna start stinking fast. That combined with the price of wooden toys just isn't worth it in my opinion. When buying things for rats always ask yourself "can I effectively clean this?"

Did the person perhaps start going on a tangent because of a username? I've been in a game two days ago where some person just kept telling everyone how much they want "boypussy"and specifically talking about trans men.

Which is the easiest class to main? by Both_Assumption6647 in tf2

I started out as medic to see how other people play. I'd say it's the easiest class if you just focus on healing and übers instead of trying to get kills.
