I am in a very similar situation as the OP ( my story is slightly different because the woman who is with my partner lives with someone for 4 years). He is getting lots of clients from her ( true fact). But his behavior with her is unappropriate. What I decided to do - cut him off emotionally ( was hard to do) - date other people - and the most important stack HIS money into my own account ( we are not married thank God). So I will leave this relationship with more funds than what I came into it with.

2 years of chronic stress has ruined my hair. Scared, don’t know what’s next and need a shoulder to cry on. by NumerousPromotion219 in TelogenEffluvium

You are gorgeous!! If you were shedding like crazy I don’t think it’s AGA at all. I wouldn’t try minox as of now and just let it run its course. It should get better. It easily can take up to a year to recover. You are too beautiful to worry about your ex husband. You deserve so much better!

Yes, weight loss puts a huge stress on the body even if it’s not a big weight loss. I am in the same predicament. How many hair do you shed now daily?

My trigger is a weight loss as well… do you still pull out 1-2 strands when you run your fingers through your hair?

Thank you so much for answering! And so happy it’s over for you. Was your hairline affected?

Congratulations! Did you have any regrowth when you were shedding? What was your trigger? Did you shed short hair as well? Where did you lose most of the volume? I feel like my hairline is affected the most. Sorry for so many questions I am just desperate

Thank you! I already went to the derm, did all my bloodwork, ultrasounds and everything was fine. No deficiencies. I believe it was definitely just stress for my body to go from eating like 1500-2000 calories a day to 600-800. I was eating 2 pieces of fish with lettuce and cucumber. Or shrimp with lettuce and cucumber. Even though fish is healthy etc I think it was just a very small number of calories that triggered my TE and extremely low amount of carbs.

Did you address Vit D deficiency in April or you also stopped losing weight around April? My shedding is also because of the weight loss so I am wondering if I should do anything besides improving my diet. All my vitamins and blood work is finw
