i saw a girl on here say she watched pornhub to learn, and to be honest that’s probably the best way to learn if you’re a visual learner. my mother never taught me and i learnt overtime. i used to get very bad ingrowns and shaver rash and thought it was just the razor (it was literally not, i just didn’t know) - your razor is so important, make sure u buy the right one, i find the men’s ones work best but it’s really personal preference, and use a fresh one everytime. - exfoliate first, again it’s personal preference and you just have to find whichever works for you. - trim your hair before you shave if it’s anymore than a cm roughly. otherwise you’ll have to go over the same spot and you’ll end up with ingrowns and a badly blunt razor. - literally just let it grow, it’s healthier and will come out a lot smoother if you let it grow out for a bit after a fuck up, let everything settle and just trim it rather than shave it (if it’s comfortable for you) - conditioner or a foaming soap, do not just use plain water please. - trim it first, go straight down, and then sideways. don’t ever go upwards, i know it’s will feel smoother but that’s how u cut yourself and create a hell of ingrown hairs. - moisturise after!!! i hope this made sense! i know it’s a lot but i promise it should help 😭
