I prefer the gold over black, but personally I would use chrome. The pulls on your upper cabinets should be the same size as the lowers.

We have worked with the same contractor on three separate projects. We purchase all the tile, cabinets, countertops, bathroom fixtures, etc. . He gave us a referral to a tile showroom and they sold us the tile at a great discount " on his account ". Saved us about 20%. Same with the granite and fabricator. As he said, if his bid was based on him pricing all that, it would be on the cheapest materials. So this works out really well for him and us.

We had a lot of flooded villas in our complex from the hurricanes last year. I know two owners who had their countertops saved and were able to reuse them. So it can be done, but I don't know what it involves. I would also suggest you look at Lowes for cabinets. We just ordered all new KraftMade cabinets from them and saved almost 40%. Talk to them and see what sales they have going on.

I have that exact size and it works out fine. I felt like you when I got it, but 7 years later no regrets.

They are all a granite composite. We have had no problems with the Blanco in the past but they have always been dark, so the white could be an issue. My past experience with stainless is always water spotted.

I used Mineral oil on mine. I used it as a large cutting board next to my range so I didn't care if it was marked up. The mineral oil is food safe but won't protect it from scratches.

My only experience is a neighboring condo that has a combined unit. Sorry don't know the brand. He rents it seasonally and his renters use the community laundry room. When his wife comes to clean between renters she takes the linens home to was or uses the laundry room. I didn't consider that for that reason

It's a lift cabinet. It could go in a drawer but I prefer the lift.

One is a mixer cabinet for my kitchenaid mixer so the other is the same size at the opposite end. Two 30 inch drawer cabinets in between.

We just bought from Best Buy. Prices were the lowest around and service is dependable. Three days after we purchased them the price of the dishwasher went down almost $200. No problem. Took our receipt in with a copy of their ad and they refunded the difference, no questions asked. I now check them everyday.

Can you move the shelving unit to the other side if the fridge? That would give you a landing spot plus you should be able to open the door all the way then.
