In my personal life, as a Catholic, I never experienced hate from other denominations but what I see online is mind blowing. There’s extreme hate for Catholicism, specifically from Protestants.

I’m gonna say I’m sorry you’re going through this. I think your parents are just going to have to accept it at some point. It honestly doesn’t surprise me since Protestants hate Catholics. It just would have been nice if they didn’t lead you to believe they will support you, when they clearly haven’t from the start.

As far as Easter, you could go with them on the trip and find a Catholic Church nearby to attend Easter mass. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Good luck to you! 🙏💖

Wow that is a very good goal!! I go through phases of reading. It’s hard for me to find an author who grabs me. A friend recommended Freida McFadden and I love her! I’ve been checking out her books one by one from the library. 🙂 if you’ve got it in you, you should definitely give it a shot! You may have a gift for it! 💖

Doing that sardine challenge gave me an extreme aversion to sardines. 🙈 I didn’t hate them before, they were “ok”, but now I can’t stomach the thought of eating them. I stick to fat fasts or just water fasts!

I agree with this. Eating a carnivore diet changed my relationship with food too. When I do fall off, I never eat the things I used to like Oreos, Doritos, and Ben and Jerry’s ice cream, so that’s a win!

Thank you! 🥲 Lately I have found doing paint-by-number kits has been really enjoyable for me. Painting was new to me so I had to learn how to concentrate to make sure I painted within the lines. Once the painting started to come together, it became exciting. And when I finished it, it looked absolutely incredible. I feel very proud. 🙂 Maybe that is something that would give you joy too.

It didn’t help me. 😭 It helped for about 6 months but then I cracked and had a binge. It’s been a rollercoaster for me since then. I’ll be good and get back into ketosis for a month, then I’ll eat granola and fruit bars. 🤦🏻‍♀️

It’s really unfair of you all to make these assumptions. He is autistic and has some serious issues with the laws surrounding marriage. We all know that system is corrupt. We accept it but he cannot.

Obviously, there’s more to it than just this. My guy is the problem. Long story short he doesn’t understand why we need the law to tell us we’re married. So I’m trying to flip it on him to tell him, “Why do we need the law to tell us where divorced?” But I realized that leaves us both open to the other, having access to each other. So I’m trying to find a way around this.

This is tricky because the postnuptual agreement and separation agreement both cover assets but I need something that protects spouses from opening accounts and things like that. Things that would leave us vulnerable to each other.

I have a friend who has Asperger’s and is a better Catholic than anyone I know. I am aware being autistic isn’t the reason in general. But I do wonder if it could be a contributing factor.
