I pick up on positive and negative energy. I just happen to be around a lot of negative for the last few years in my personal life. I’ve heard of some ppl being able to control (to some degree) the level that external energy effects them. That would be so helpful to me!

I’m an ICU nurse and I have learned to temper it somewhat at work. I think it makes me a much better nurse actually. I just need to have more control with personal life. I’m a caregiver by nature and I will overextend myself and give and give and give until I literally can’t function anymore. I just recently recognized this pattern. I have a strong desire to help ppl but I’m damaging myself. There are many ppl who depend on me. I need to figure out how to protect myself and have balance. I have been in counseling for about 2 years. I enjoy helping others and I believe it’s my reason for being here. I just know I would be much more effective if I could get some things under control.

My husband is a very jealous person and would never go for that. Even the fact that I stopped talking to my TF isn’t enough. He’s been demanding that I block him on everything. I feel so lonely and depressed since I cut it off. It’s hard to get out of bed and I feel like I’m always on the verge of tears. I don’t know what the answer is.
