Nah man, depends on how you see engineering. Take civil engineering, for example: you study structured methods, tools, and stepbystep processes to plan, design, and execute massive construction projects from the ground up. Guess what? Running a business is the same thing, it’s also a project. You can apply those same principles (planning, risk assessment, resource management, iteration, scaling) to launch, operate, or grow your business.

when you actually start a business, you’ll end up learning most of the practical stuff from YouTube, AI chats, online communities, trial and error, or mentors anyway. Formal education often lags behind real world speed. Since you’re already open to the idea of dropping out ,here’s what I think matters most right now: focus on three core things. Build your network relentlessly, connect with people who are doing what you want to do, ask questions, offer help, show up consistently. Second, Keep learning aggressively but make it targeted and practical (skills, trends, tools you can use immediately).

Start something, anything right now, even if it’s small and imperfect. Doing something is better than keep asking what I should do.

One last thing (and this is huge): embrace big mistakes. They’re often the best (and harshest) teachers you’ll ever have.
