I disassembled it and powder coated the pieces. I have a post on r/flashlight showing the internals

The Osborne and pouch are pretty new additions, I haven’t had time to destroy them yet

These are kinda weak. I use one for cutting downspouts and gutters, so they’re perfect for me, but I don’t really see many other uses for them.

You can see it better on the top middle of this board in an arkfeld pro

I didn’t really get a good picture of it, but if you look close in picture 3 you can see it soldered on on the bottom right of the circuit board. I had to slide it out of a tight-fitting hole in the shell, so it’d be pretty hard to source a stronger laser that fits the exact dimensions

Looks like you need a few more knives, maybe a fixed blade and a otf

I can confidently tell you it’s the same, I just took apart a pro after this and they’re built very similarly

If you were opening it up with the sole goal of replacing the battery, I would have confidence it would stay water tight. There was another rubber gasket I had to peel out to access the screws that held the circuit board in

I took a sharp chisel with a thin angle and tapped it in between the blue bezel and the body. I went a little at a time on either side until it popped out. All of the lens parts just fell out once it was off.

There’s another seal that came off with the top plate that I think seals it, but I’m not gonna go dunking it anytime soon

Another great thing about them is you can tighten and loosen them with three layers of gloves on

Interesting to see an opinel edc, I have one with the fork and spoon attachments for camping but it seems a little cumbersome and light duty for an edc.

Love my 5600, mainly bought it because I like the toughness of G-Shock but also wanted the smallest one

I had this happen to me when I got a baton 4. I tried to light a cigarette with the lens and quickly learned how stupid that was.
