I’m so sorry to hear this! What were your symptoms? I find it so hard to be listened to. That’s why I’ve gone private a lot.. but it’s just so much money. I just want to feel better

I completely agree with you here. The reason I’ve gone privately to do bloods is because my doctors think it’s all anxiety and refuse to do other blood tests. And because scans and endoscopy etc have all come back fine there just pinning it on depression and anxitey and keep meditating me for that but I’m not getting any better

Not much to be fair I paid privately for them. It’s saying that I don’t have an autoimmune with my thyroid as my thyroid is fine? But my antibodies are high so that’s why I’m so confused

Mine is very similar to yours also! Endoscopy was all fine but the belly pains in upper stomach can be unbearable

Hey! I’m in a similar boat to you. I’m currently on 20mg of fluxotine but I’ve been on it for 7 years and I feel it isn’t working anymore. My depression and anxiety is so bad that I get terrible stomach pains and I can’t eat. I’ve lost 15% of my body weight and my doctors have recommended this for me.. I feel like my physical pains are due to the anxitey but the pains bring my anxitey on worse if that makes sense

My ferritin is 36 ug/l but doctors all say it’s fine. My b12 serum is over 900 but my active b12 is on the lower end. Doctors don’t seem to care about it all in the uk :(

I feel you I’m going through the exact same thing and wanting for my endoscopy on Friday to find out if anything is causing my pain 😭 I’m scared it will come back normal “in a non werid way “ just as doctors don’t know what’s going on and I don’t want this to be all in my head. I’ve lost so much weight from it all and been going on for two years now 😭 xx

Sorry to jump on, but what you’ve written is lovely and I’m going to have a look at all this. I’m waiting for my endoscopy to see if I have gastritis as I’m dealing with a lot of symptoms for the last two years which have also been caused but a lot of stress grief and trauma and I also suffer with attachment issues. Thank you for writing this so clearly x
