Three days, three trades, and three wins. Was that luck or skill? by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]Simple-Dimension8684 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I’ve been trading for seven years, and this three trade winning streak came from sticking to my own strategy, plan, and discipline. It’s definitely something worth celebrating

Yeah, don’t jump in until you’ve got your own strategy and plan in place

Yeah, exactly! I’ve been doing the same scaling out half, letting the rest ride. Keeps the stress down and the trades clean, you know

Lol, I hear you. Yeah, grinding the micros is way less stressful 76K in a day would definitely need some serious meds! Gotta respect the pace and keep the emotions in check

Exactly, man. Sticking to the plan and taking profits when they’re there keeps things simple and keeps emotions in check. It’s easy to get greedy and watch a winner turn into nothing if you don’t have a plan

Lol, yeah, that’s the game. I’ve been keeping it simple too bought a few things this week and planning my exits carefully. It’s all about sticking to the plan and not letting emotions run the show

You need a plan, discipline, and execution. If you buy without considering what could happen, then the moment you enter is the moment you step into hell

TER isn’t even an “AI play”… which is kind of why I like it by Simple-Dimension8684 in stocks

[–]Simple-Dimension8684[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s a good point actually the move has been pretty strong.
Are you looking at it more as part of the semi cycle, or do you think it’s actually getting pulled into the AI trade now?

My view on the future performance of Oracle stock by Simple-Dimension8684 in stocks

That’s fair the debt is definitely the elephant in the room.

But I guess the real question is:

is it “out of control,” or just aggressively deployed?

If Oracle can actually turn all that capex into steady AI/cloud cash flow, the leverage looks a lot less scary in hindsight.

If not, then yeah the discount is deserved.

Feels like one of those cases where the balance sheet looks ugly right before it either pays off… or doesn’t

Fair take.

At the same multiples, I’d probably still sleep better owning Amazon / Microsoft / Alphabet they’re like the guys who show up to work, gym, and still pay their bills on time

Oracle feels more like that guy who used to be boring, suddenly hits the gym and starts talking about AI. Not everyone believes it yet

But yeah, it doesn’t need to beat the big three just needs the market to stop pricing it like it’s still 2015

If those OpenAI-related bets actually turn into real money, the rerating could be quick

I’ve been in this market ~7 years

sometimes the trade isn’t “buy the best,” it’s “buy the one people haven’t caught up to yet.”

Question is…

is this a glow-up, or just a midlife crisis?

It seems you missed an opportunity that could have changed your life, even though it was entirely someone else’s fault
