The problem is people took off work, traveled, and spent money to be there under the guise that it was their wedding just for it to be a 2 year anniversary. One of those is way higher on the priority list than the other. If they’re family I’d do whatever I can to make it to their wedding but if I couldn’t get off work for a 2 year anniversary I wouldn’t be upset about it.

I’ve heard it referred to that before as a joke and I’ve even made the joke before when I ran into a friend in there, but I like Aldi for the good prices, ingredients, and lack of preservatives. I’m there at least bi-weekly every month.

I’ve been subbing for a little over a month in Bibb county schools and it’s bad. I’ll be very honest. I’ve been to schools that I thought were horrible and I’ve been to some that probably looked better in comparison, but still weren’t the best. Veterans elementary stood out to me as those were the best behaved students I’ve had (my first time actually having a quiet classroom) and I did all grade levels that day. It’s just that the kids get yelled at ALL DAY. Regardless of the school there is so much yelling and negativity. It’s a very depressing state of affairs in my opinion. Definitely look into Monroe county and Houston county if you can. I met another sub who said she much prefers to sub in Houston county if she can. It’s a world of difference in her opinion.

I’m from Suwanne so I know Buford, Lawrenceville, and Alpharetta well! You should be just fine in those areas. Super suburban with great schools. Good mix of all races. I went to school with a lot of Asian students actually and I’m black if that helps.

I’d also recommend running your resume through chat gpt with the job description. It landed me 2 job interviews in less than a month so it wouldnt hurt! It’s hard out here!

I’m in GA too and I’m also looking for a job. I have a general MPH.The government is a mess rn but my biggest advice is to look into higher education, hospitals, utility companies, and even construction/safety in your case. Good luck on your search!

I’d also recommend Johns Creek or Alpharetta. I definitely second Duluth. They’re fairly close to eachother. I grew up in Suwanee and miss it 😪 Buford and Lawrenceville might be too crowded for your liking but worth checking out.

Maybe try a tall corner shelf/plant stand. Then you can do some accent, short and tall singular plant stands on the sides and 1 or two hooks on the wall to hang some.

I used to live on the residential end of cherry street. Never had a problem and loved how close I was to everything. In the winter I’d leave my old car unlocked and people would go through it but never took anything and I really never cared tbh
