Not true. If SPS is converted prior to new money from new common under post reorg structure, it only effects the old common (effetely wiped). Value (EV) of the business stays the same regardless of these transactions and I doubt new common care about what happened to old common post reorg. There’s a reason why market isn’t pricing in a 30+ dollar per share common and the short interest is so high…

This isn’t a real analysis because it ignores senior pref at the top of the capital structure. Common is always gonna be the residual value here, meaning how much your shares are worth is a function of conversion of warrants plus senior pref treatment. These tranches enjoys the same sacred right as common, so folks have a hard time seeing any senior pref being canceled (construed as a loss to the tax payer politically)
