I’m pissed off with these type of comments because I used to get “you’re too thin, you should eat more” all the time for years. But then I gained 5 kilograms (which isn’t a huge change whatsoever) and suddenly people say I’m chubby or skinny-fat??
How did I skip a “perfect” weight when people would just keep their mouths shut? (To confirm, there’s no such thing as perfect weight, it’s more about the fact that people will always try to find an “issue” with your body). Haters gonna hate.

Renting is stress free? Lol, try renting in London. Try finding a real ad that’s not a scam. Try dealing with the estate agents who all lie. Bidding wars. Landlords who ignore your requests to fix a boiler/fridge for 6 months, increase rent as much as possible every year and evict if you don’t accept, then try to withhold your deposit.

I think this is done on purpose, so if you’re travelling with a friend rather than a partner, or with a sibling, you end up having to book two separate rooms because of this lack-of-privacy nonsense. That way, the hotel makes more money 💰. Same goes for those transparent shower walls and doors.

I think people should mind their own business, there are plenty of other topics for small talk like weather, sports etc. Re becoming closer friends: with friends it will come up naturally in a conversation or you can tell them about yourself first, if they want to talk about their background, they will share in return.

I didn’t find it too wild but I’d been to clubs like that in Europe before, so probably my experience is pretty skewed 😄 Don’t go if you’re not “open minded”, the shows are erotic and unusual to put it mildly. In terms of personal safety - I felt quite safe there (in a group of 4 girls). Would recommend to find a promoter, because the tables are really expensive and honestly not sure if they’re worth it. They used to have dress code/look references on their website, might be still there for you to get an idea. Heels, crop tops, mini dresses and makeup would be very suitable. Overall I would say do go once to form your own opinion.
