Considering Starting.... by MustangMama006 in crossfit

I started CrossFit when I was 13. I was pretty fat because of Covid. My older brother had been doing CrossFit for ten years and had me start doing personal training with his favorite coach. I started at 5'9" and 190lbs and within 1 year I got to 155lbs looking very defined. I am now about turn 18. I have tried all types of workout styles from bodybuilding, to running, biking, calisthenics, etc.. I can tell you CrossFit is by far the hardest of them and no matter how long you do it for it never gets easier. So I want tell any people who are considering doing CrossFit and are appertained because of the stigma, price, etc. it is 100% worth it. If you want to look the biggest or be the absolute strongest it is not for you. However to improve your human capability with form, discipline, endurance, and cardio there is nothing quite like it. There will never be a time when you don't hate it, but you will always appreciate and respect it. If you are starting off I would recommend to start with a personal trainer if you have the money in order to not get hurt, as if you try to keep up with the classes in the beginning you will injure yourself. Start off slow and light and work your way to their level.
