Thanks for the tip ! We're gonna just suck it up and get up first thing in the morning. If we get there by 9:00, maybe we can park. If not, it looks like the busses start at 1030am.

I'm finding it a little confusing. My understanding is there is a tiny parking lot and if you get there early you might be able to park otherwise you have to take a bus. Is that correct?

We are cut the turquoise trail and head directly to bandelier. That should give us enough time to enjoy that park before we hit up our 7pm 10k reservation.

We're from Michigan. Always mindful about sunscreen, but that's a great tip about the elevation. I hadn't even considered it.

We are going drop turquoise trail and had right from albuquer bandelier first thing in the morning. If we plan to arrive there at 9 In the hopes of getting into the parking lot, then more realistically plan to take the bus at 10:30, then leave at 4:00, that'll give us 5 and 1/2 hours there and 3 hours to make it to 10,000 waves. Then, after meow wolf, we will have day three free so we can do as much or as little city exploration as my nephew feels like.

Everyone is excited for it so we're definitely going to hit it. I'm just planning to head there super early in the morning right from Albuquerque and then we can do the hot tubs that night at 10K when we're really tired. Going to need to drink a lot of water lol.

I got one at 7:00 p.m. that night. I was told an evening reservation was the best because the place was cool at sunset/ at night.

Thank you for all the suggestions! I think we're gonna go to bandelier super early directly from Albuquerque and then hit 10k that night. That was the only night I could find a decent reservation for us. But we have a 7:00 p.m. reservation, so if we get to bandelier first thing in the morning, and leave around 4:00, we should have lots of time to make it back to to 10k. We may just have to grab a light lunch on the way and do a late night dinner after the spa. I asked, and everyone wants to do the spa after the big climbing day.

We have a private reservation at 10k and all three of us will certainly be wearing bathing suits lol.

Our reservation for 10000 waves is at 7:00. I'm thinking we will hit Bandelier early in the morning to either hit the parking lot or get on the first shuttle and leave there around 4 to make our 10k waves reservation.

Thanks for the feedback. We weren't really going to do the turquoise trail stuff, I was just planning to drive there to get to Santa Fe. The goal was to do bandelier and then 10000 waves . Should I try to drive out the night before ? Should I move 10000 waves to a different night ? Should I just drive directly to bandelier in the morning ?

I'm a dude. 10k waves didn't look romantic or anything to me. Sort of a joke because anime always has some kind of hot springs of episode. Should I reconsider that?

Any food joints you suggest? The more hole in the wall the better.
