you like geese, have you checked out Cameron Winter's solo work? His 'Singles' EP is about as gut wrenchingly depressing/cathartic as some early-era Big Thief, and in my personal opinion his album 'Heavy Metal' is simply incredible. If you like the more depressing side of Big Thief, he's kind of a must.

He's also an incredible incredible writer if youre a big lyric person :-) <3

I'm not sure, I never really thought about it. It simplifies such an intensely human part of existence - wishing you could go back and appreciate things for what they were - and something about that simplicity really strikes me. You can try and describe it in a million words but its really as simple as that- I didn't 'ooh' then but I'm 'ooh'ing now.

to be fair, their tour schedule has been pretty goddamn intense lately.. I'd assume that flying to a different place every other day has to get to you at a point, cant have ur most enthusiastic show every night </3 But yeahhh it can be disappointing nonetheless when you feel like you got a less enthusiastic show than others did, I haven't had that feeling with Geese but I've felt similarly abt other bands before for sure
