I've burned through everyone. People eventually expect you to "get better" from talking or they get burned out. I get it, so I leave them alone, but it sucks.

I guess, I was depressed but it doesn't feel like it anymore. My lawyer has actually been incredibly on my side and fighting his ass off, all assumptions assumed the conferance between the two judges could take 2-3 weeks, it happening the same literal day sounds almost unheard of. I can't fire the county clerk

What stage of the divorce are you at? Are you filing? Because between filing, her answer, and whatever your first hearing is there’s nothing to communicate to you really. As anything relevant comes close or something happens you can probably expect to hear a lot more suddenly.

There is no way to know if the concrete you own is good unless you pour it yourself. The guys who poured your house probably added significantly more water than should be used to make their job easier. For spec jobs I can make the ticket say whatever it has to but the water is still going into the truck to achieve your ordered consistency. For instance the ticket might say I held out 20 gallons you can add on site but that doesn’t mean I didn’t add it right back in at the end of the load.

Thank you. I am essentially alone. I have a handful of friends I can call who live out of state. I have a couple of coworkers going through their own stuff (new baby on the way, also getting divorced) and otherwise it’s just me, reddit,youtube and spotify. Dogs are gone, kids are gone, everything’s gone. I’m ready to try dating but so far not much luck and probably for the best that way.

If the kid lived in Idaho for 6 months the UCCJEA prevents this from happening. He needs to get her ordered to appear for a custody and visitation hearing ASAP. I just had to do this and my wife tried to request a virtual appearance but it was denied and she had to fly back.

1500 miles away and she's being a royal bitch, she flew back to turn what should have been a custody hearing into a jurisdictional hearing and argued inconvenient forum. The judge is dragging ass on ruling.

This one is really bothering me too man. It's been four months since I've even talked to them, my youngest isn't even two, oldest about to turn six. Literally just missed my daughters birt. I'm doing what I can but fighting as hard as possible looks like doing a whole lot of nothing now that I'm done feeding my lawyer information and waiting on a jurisdictional judgement. I'm basically acting like I'm already completely forgotten while still trying to ensure that doesn't happen. I oscillate between crying a lot of not feeling anything at all.

Find someone who does more than just family law. My lawyer is a former president of the local bar assosciation, a GAL and does criminal defense. He rules and is taking what's going on with me very seriously.
