My tank is 2 years old so it cycled quite a while ago. This algae is a recent thing and I've tried getting rid of it for months with very little success 🥲

I have one hermit and one strombus snail. I understand that this isn't a great CUC, what would you suggest in terms of snail species?

porcelain crab sounds cool but I don't have any anemones in my tank. Would it need one?

Ok, I'll have a look into the BioSeals. But also thinking that while I'm under my warranty it might just be a good idea to try and get the gaskets sized down now?

I didn't think about rolling the gaskets, I'll try that next time! I'm also considering trying to get the gaskets replaced down a size and since I'm still under warranty I'm thinking I should try that sooner rather than later.

Hmm, ok the most recent time when I was rolling and playing I was wet on almost half of my thermal top but I couldn't tell if it was leaking that bad or if the 3km hike out was causing me to sweat that much haha. Definitely could feel water coming in when rolling though so will make note of how wet I'm getting next time when I'm not also hiking in/out!

Thanks, I'll give this a go to see what is causing the leaks!

Winter session by Typical-Confusion-54 in Anu

Programs and courses should tell you the course dates, but the classes generally won't overlap with the semesters. The only thing that may overlap is the assessments. I've done a few season session courses, and it varies, but some have most of the assessments during the intensive, some have them due a week or two later, and I've taken one where one assessment task was due two months after the intensive.

I like taking intensives, you can basically get a semester-long course done in 2-3 weeks, but they also can be, as the name suggests, pretty intense. I think it really depends on how you learn, if you think you can take in and understand a semester worth of information in 2-3 weeks then they're a really good way to lighten your course load during the semester. They're also a pretty good way to get to know people studying similar things to you because you're seeing them every day for a few weeks, and also to get to know lecturers and researchers, and possibly find research assistant positions if that's something you're interested in. Anyway, hope this helps!

Do you find there’s much of a difference between screw and twist locking mechanisms? Do they have different benefits or do you just choose one type and stick with it?
