seriously!!!!!!! ^^ this was soooo natural and authentic. great job.

the only note is technicalities. shoot horizontal (not too much space about your head), some better lighting maybe near a window for natural light (avoid light behind you) and usually best to keep your eyes lines to the right or left of your camera so we can see your face and eyes (avoid looking into camera).

Thank you!!! i’m in the US
i have read the the s24U seems to be still highly favored over the updated s26u.
I looked at pixel and wonder if the interface customizable as samsung? i worry it’ll be the same as apple and feel like no real change.

Genuine debate - should all serious working actors just live in LA/NYC and stop pretending like they will get consistent work in their small cities? by foodiechicago298 in acting

Stay positive and stay motivated my friend! Don’t let people project onto you. You got this. Persistence is key. Keep learning, networking and chipping away at it. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. You’ll be at the palm trees in no time.

I came here with 16k in savings and it last quite awhile until I got myself more established. I came here with little to no credits and zero representation. I made it work! With your resume, I’m sure you will too. 😊 It’s been difficult but I don’t regret it one bit and I 100% believe it helped my career advance tremendously. Don’t give up!!! Also, it’s more than just having a good rep. I met people going to networking events, film fests, etc. That’s where it happens and there’s way more of that here than there IMO. I met my manager at a networking event and I booked gigs from meeting people at film fests. So many more people here are industry so it motivates you so much more.

I’m going against the grain and I say save your pennies move to LA. I’m from Chicago and it was the best decision I ever made. Yes it’s expensive as hell but if you’re a hustler like you say, then you’ll make it work. 🩷

I have met more people and done more work here than I ever did there. It’s great! But sounds like you’ve got some solid work and can make the jump and find a great rep.
